TROUMACA and a megamix on xfm this week

This week on the show my guest was Sam from Troumaca. They are a band from Birmingham signed to Gilles Peterson's label Brownswood Recordings.  

The Grace LP was released on August 29th and is fab. I think of their sound as an exotic mix of bass, dub, synths, beats and harmonies in one big fat cosmic party bag.  Sam joined me to chat about what they have been up to and to pick a song for our listening pleasure.  He went for The Roots featuring Cody Chesnut with The Seed (2.0) (a huge tune). Each week I also make a mix of old and new tracks on the dance tip.
