 I've been really enjoying Brooklyn band Prince Rama's latest album Xtreme Now, out on Car Park Records, so when they were in the UK playing a show at Moth Club one half of the sister duo, Nimai, dropped in to Virgin Radio to have a chat for Music Discovery.
It was one of those super lovely and super open interviews - give it a listen....  The cosmic disco producer from Norway, Lindstrøm, has been a firm favourite for some time, with his remixes of LCD Soundsystem, Foals, Grizzly Bear and the like, his album Smalhans and more recently upcoming EP out on July 8th.
I'd been playing the driving space disco banger Closing Shot on Music Discovery on Sunday nights on Virgin and he was in the UK playing a show in Brixton, South London so Hans-Peter paid me a visit. Check it out below....  Vince Clarke of Erasure and Paul Hartnoll from Orbital have teamed up on a 'home house' album 2Square, which came out on June 10th.
Paul came in to Virgin Radio HQ and we hooked Vince up over the phone to chat about working with each other for the first time, what they mean by 'home house' and whether they are going to take this project into a live space. Following their successful debut album Zaba which saw them get lots of airplay and play to thousands across the pond, the Oxford band have announced the first new track from their second offering How To Be A Human Being, the glorious Life Itself.
