Martha Wainwright is back with a new track, the lead track of her first studio album in five years Love Will Be Reborn.
The record comes out on August 20th. It’s her first since 2016’s Goodnight City but the first since 2012’s Come Home To Mama to feature so much original material.
It came off the back of a difficult time for her personally and was made in Martha’s hometown of Montreal, where she was when I spoke to her, in bed with her morning coffee on a glorious sunny morning! Here - in the piece for BBC Radio 6 Music we speak about writing her most personal work to date…
