Here's the latest Secret Sessions I've hosted with the smashing Ryan Bingham. He did a beautiful track called The Weary Kind for the Crazy Heart soundtrack and has recently put out his fourth album Tomorrowland, which he came over to the UK to tour..
I did check to see if there were stones in his coffee but no, the gravel in his voice is all natural (BAD DAD JOKE - I now have Check Out Ma Gravel Pit in my head!) but joking aside, his singin' just sounds immense on this. He has a pretty revealing confession too....
We hope you like it.
The other week I got papped in central London for Company magazine. It occurred to me to see if I'd been featured in the end. I was in a bit of a hurry so it was a bit of a 'pose (QUICKLY) 'n go' situation. Found the photo in the Street Style section of the website looking quite serene and a bit french/St Trinians!!
Boots: Topshop, Silence and Noise skinny black jeans, Pins and Needles dress, Zara white collarless blouse, Topshop leather biker jacket, Cooperative bowler hat, YSL arty oval ring.
Two of my friends Michael Zoidis, a graphic designer and music maker under the moniker of MJZ, and Jodie Southgate, an accomplished photographer, who took the pictures on this site in fact, have joined forces and done the brilliant official music video for a new song by Olafur Arnalds & Nils Frahm. It's a stunning ambient record and this video is the perfect accompaniment and has already notched over 40,000 hits. Wahooo. Go guys!
