Also known as Orlando Higginbottom, he'll be performing alongside Deadmau5 as part of Nokia Lumia Live, taking place at London’s Millbank Tower.
"I'm opening up and there's going to be these visuals that are being made for it that are being projected 30 stories high," he told 6 Music News.
Adding: "They're going to do something ultra ridiculous and make the building blow up or something like that. I think the most exciting thing for me is that you can watch it from the other side of the river."
Orlando's EP Household Goods came out in 2010, but it was this year that some acclaimed festival sets and a collaboration with Damon Albarn's DRC Music really put him on the map.
He is likely to be one of the acts to feature in the New Year's Hotly Tipped acts lists and his debut album is set for release next year.
Plans for a 13 date tour of the UK next year were unveiled last week. The jaunt will kick off on 2 February at Cardiff Club Ifor Bach and culminating in a show at Brighton Digital on 18 February.
Orlando also presented a 6 Mix for us over the weekend, which you can find on the listen again.
I met Orlando to find out more about the event and his forthcoming record:
