MJZ and Me...

It's taken 25 years for me to actually sing on something recorded that wasn't some am dram production of The Wizard of Oz or Toad of Toad Hall.

About six months ago my friend Michael Zoidis asked me to sing on a tune he'd written for someone special in his life.  I re-worked a couple of the verse lyrics, headed over to his place.  It was the first time I'd sung in front of someone since singing some of the finest german songs/musical show-stoppers to my singing teacher at school. Egad! 

It took an hour or so at his flat and he then added several touches of magic to my vocals.  I couldn't believe the final product!

He makes music under the alias MJZ and you can expect a whole load of blissed out beats and ambient dubstep sounds.

The track we did is called You Feed My Sleep and I guess you could say there's something pretty personal about the track for both of us.  Not gonna lie, it's a weird feeling putting it out there but it was such an awesome experience, everyone needs to know about his music and the feedback so far has been great.

The artwork was expertly done by upcoming fashion label Mrs Wilberforce and it's available as a free download from the 28th November 2011.
