MERCURY PRIZE PREVIEW

It's most certainly that time again. The nominees have piled down the red carpet to enter this year's bash at the swanky Grosvenor House Hotel.

All twelve are expected at the event, although Adele won't be performing as she's already had to cancel two dates on her UK tour and now this performance due to a bad chest infection.

Hear from some of the nominees, Anna Calvi, Everything Everything, Ghostpoet and Metronomy about how they are feeling in the run up to the announcement in this Mercury preview podcast that I made for BBC 6 Music News.

I for one am going to be glued to the telly tonight watching the lovely Lauren Laverne hosting.  (Personally, if PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi or Ghostpoet win, I'll be a happy lady.)
