Last night (Friday 7th February) I went and saw James Blake headline at the Borderline in Soho.
As compere John Kennedy from Xfm said, as hundreds of people were crammed in eagerly awaiting Mr Blake, this is the "hottest ticket in town". He was right.
So many stars, Tom from Groove Armada were there, Matt Horne was in attendance, as was T4 presenter Miquita Oliver. I mean, Bono was probably lurking there somewhere!
Like a country cousin I managed to get in, not because of any musical connections I might have, this time, but because my friend designs for Ted Baker and they were sponsors!
It was an awesome gig. He played Limit To Your Love, his Feist cover that has got him some serious notice, early on in the set and the mega bass was making the whole place rattle.
But by far my favourite of all was The Wilhelm Scream. Caw blimey...the production on that is blinding. Check it:
