Sir Paul McCartney has entered the world of music for the computer game industry, scoring the soundtrack to Destiny, which is the latest release from the makers of Halo.
The game came out in September and Macca was commissioned to submit ideas for a soundtrack and create a theme song.
The track, Hope For The Future, will get a release later this year, with more details to be announced in the coming weeks.
It was produced by Giles Martin, who he worked with on his latest studio album, New. Giles is the son of Sir George Martin, who produced most of the Beatles records.
I was lucky enough to be sat in a studio at 4 o clock yesterday waiting for Sir Paul to call! Just your average wednesday ya know. CASUAL!
Here he is chatting to me all about the tune and whether kicking back for a game of Destiny or any computer game for that matter could be a regular thing....
