We've been providing audio treats daily in December as part of our Audio Advent Calendar on the show. Check it all out here. I thought I'd stick up some of the highlights packages with some of the faces/voices that have been Artist of the Week in 2011. Behind some of the doors were festive catch-ups with former Artist of the Week acts. Ice Black Birds - Last time we spoke to them, they were about to record their debut album, but what have they been up to since? Find out! The wonderful Laura Bettinson AKA Dimbleby and Capper let us in on her Christmas plans and what 2012 holds... Continuing on this theme, we also had a catch up with the ever-charming Brian from Beat Radio: As ever, team Amazing Breakfast like to do things a bit differently on a Friday, and though Duncan from former Artist of the Week Dutch Uncles certainly did fill us in on his Christmas plans as so many of our other favourite people have done so far, as he happened to be in the area, we collared him for a bit more of an in-depth chat, seeing as he was such a lovely chap last time we spoke. Listen to what he had to say: Team Amazing Breakfast are here to offer treats for your ears every day because it is the season of good will, after all. We have another catch up with a favourite Artist of the Week from across the year. We loved speaking to the frankly hilarious Cat from the brilliantly uncompromising PRIS. If you missed out on what our Tom thinks of PRIS, it’s worth a read! We couldn’t resist the opportunity to catch up with her to find out what they have in store for 2012:
