Laurence Guy is a British electronic house producer based in London. He joined me recently on Soho Radio and discussed his new track Not Checkers featuring Jean Carter, plans for a third studio album and recent touring with Barry Can't Swim.
He also gave us a little insight into his process and how he started making beats and electronic music when he was young. He is a prolific talent and has notched up over 80 million streams on his tracks. We also talk about getting your head around numbers like that! Big thanks to Laurence for coming on the show. They go way back meeting at school so speak all about the origins of Lavender, how they are absolute perfectionists but lucky to share the same vision musically, about studio sessions in Limehouse and France and future plans. The album is out now. Watch this interview and many others over on You Tube. Please subscribe to the channel while you are there for more interviews with incredible music artists.
