Track of the Week: M O N E Y / 7th May

Just picked next week's Track of the Week as heading down to Brighton for the Great Escape and to do some live shows from the hustle and bustle of the festival on Amazing Radio.

This is it. They are from Manchester. There's not much written down online about them.  My theory is that they are friends with WU LYF. Check out their Facebook about section and you'll see why!

As for the song, it's pretty frikken miserable but that and stunning in equal measure. Enjoy some wallowing!

Track of the Week: The Hundred In The Hands /30th April

Brooklyn bands The Hundred In The Hands are back with a new album.

Red Night is coming out on the 11th June and this is the first single from it.

It's my Track of the Week on Amazing Breakfast on Amazing Radio this week.

Sounds like it should be on the Drive 2 soundtrack!

Listen. Love.

Track of the Week: Jessie Ware / 23th April

This is my Track of the Week on Amazing Breakfast.

Produced by Julio Bashmore, this new single from Jessie Ware's debut album, which is coming in August, shows off her talents as a solo artist.

She's no longer the Jessie on Joker's record, or SBTRKT's or the one on tour with whichever band (Jack Penate, Man Like Me) but she is J to the motherflippin' Ware and it's awesome to see.

This song, 110% contains all the vitamin D you could hope for in your life in this minging weather!

Saved the best for last there!!!!!

Thanks to all of you who came to Cat Lovers at the weekend. And thanks to Tribes, Chapel Club, Mayton DJs, The Collectable Few, Zen Arcade, The Penelopes and Dead Social Club.

You can see from the pictures it was another raucous affair. We are so humbled that we've managed to pack out the venue and then some both times.

Save the date... 28th April is the next one.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Artist of the Week: Get People

Picture
May I introduce you to Get People.

They are an electronic music making trio from London and they are ACE.

Had the pleasure of meeting the lads when they dropped into the London Amazing Radio studio to do an interview, which you'll be able to hear on Amazing Breakfast on Wednesday morning.

Have a listen to two of my favourite Get People tracks below...

Track of the Week: Dems

Picture
A new week means a new Track of the Week on the show, Amazing Breakfast.

It's by London band Dems and is called Inner O and is a gorgeous slice of electronica.

Turns out a mate of mine Harry is in the video as well. The world gets smaller by the day.

Listen again to this morning's show... or check it out below.
