TMTATC: Artist of the Week/ 28th March

Picture
We had Knife Lover by The Mouse That Ate The Cat as Track of the Week a little while back.

Quite frankly it alway prompts some shape-throwing in the studio and we like their choons so much we thought we'd have then on the show this week.

Hear a different track by TMTATC every day throughout the week and a chat with Brian from the duo on their plans to enter the live scene and new material on Wednesday morning between 9-10am.

Listen to Amazing Breakfast on a DAB radio in the UK or online anywhere here.

Draw Me Stories: Track of the Week/28th March

A new week means a new Track of the Week on Amazing Breakfast, the show I host on national new music station Amazing Radio.

I'll be playing the epic Oars by Cardiff trio Draw Me Stories every day on the show this week.

Decided to go for something a bit more leftfield and experimental, following on from My TIger My Timing and Laki Mera previously.

Below is a taster....of the originals and the remixes. Big!

It's not out until April, but you can stream it over and over again right here on their Amazing Tunes profile page.

You need D & C in your life!

Cannot get enough of this single by Dimbleby and Capper. Get involved. She is artist of the week on the show soon. Will keep you posted re: interview etc.

In the meantime, get this on nice and loud and feel the spring vibes! It was played on 6 Music the other day. That is all.

Happy Friday.

We love their tune This Is Not The Fire and will be playing it every day this week between 7-10am on Amazing Radio, on DAB for the UK and online for the rest of t

It's definitely a danceable little number. I'd get a wee indie stomp on to this for sure.

It’s Buen Chico time! Artist of the Week

Picture
We’re going a bit indie on Amazing Breakfast this week. We have a new artist of the week and they're called Buen Chico.

You might have heard their kickass track Summer all over Amazing Radio recently, or the equally awesome Happiness is Important, which was recently played on Lauren Laverne's 6 Music show, and we wanted to introduce some of their other fantastic tracks to the world.

Hear a different song by them every day on the show and we'll be hearing from the band on Wednesday morning between 9-10am.

The Seasons EP from the Leeds trio is out on March 28th.

A very cool Nate Dogg tribute

Nate Dogg, Burial, Four Tet - I Got Ego by Richard the Third

As you may have heart Nate Dogg sadly passed away on the 15th March, aged 41.

The track above is pretty sweeeeet, put together by Richard The Third.

It's I Got Love by Nate Dogg mashed up with Ego, the new track by Burial, Four Tet and Thom Yorke.

And just a reminder of his fine work. Chooooon!
